I have a RG Ring handed down to me from my Aunt's Husband in Portugal, and so I bought a RG Daytona to match it...

I also told my wife I'd like to make a Platinum ring to match the RG one...

You know where I'm going with this...

Matching is overrated.

My wife has a Bvlgari RG ring and necklace and they match her RG Yachtmaster very well.

I also have a Bvlgari ring that goes with a couple of my watches.

Watch and ring do not need to match. Same with watch strap and belt or shoes.

Thank you. This is one of the best picture of WG vs SS. I'm starting to look at the WG Daytona so now not only I need to find a matching RG ring but also a WG ring at some point. :)

Good grief, is this for real? Matching one’s wedding ring metal to their watch is way too precious for me. Never crossed my mind before this thread.

Where did you incorrectly learn this??? Your belt, shoes, and leather strap should always match.

I used to be way more anal about this kind of thing, and felt awkward wearing a ring that was a different color metal from my watch. That changed after my father passed and (a decade later) I started wearing his class ring, since we attended the same university. It's yellow gold, but my all my watches are stainless. That detail just doesn't matter to me anymore. What am I going to do, not wear a ring that means the world to me? I thought about getting in a time-traveling DeLorean, going back 60 years, and convincing my younger father to go with white gold for his ring, but I couldn't find the plutonium.

Never considered if my ring and watch matched. Some weeks they do, some they don't. Depends on which watch I'm wearing.

My watches and rings do match. Though, because I work with my hands, I rarely wear a ring. No need anyway; The look of defeat on my face says I’m married.

I lost my white-gold wedding ring last month and on this valentine day I just bought a new Cartier Trinity wedding band :)

First day it really look a bit weird, also the SA at Cartier recommend me the Love ring in white gold said it would match with the watch.

In the end, I chose this trinity band instead and just love it

BTW Trinity ring, 3 gold colours to match any watch you would wear LOL

I think not SS. Mostly WG or Pt.
