116600 and Black D500 are the only ones I've ever regretted selling

1675/3 GMT. Both black dial, one on a Jubilee, and the other one on an Oyster.
Bought & traded away twice.
I'll probably end up with another at some point.

I have many watches that I would never sell and really enjoy but at the end of the day I always come bake to this one.

Sub, Daytona and Milgauss. Whenever I wear something else, I feel like I'm cheating on a woman.

Sold 2 subs, bought a 3rd. Sold a Milgauss, really missed it. Never sold the Daytona, never will

definitely 5513, keep coming back to them after trading them in for a higher value vintage piece

Which Rolex do you always come back to? The watch I can't quit . . .

Ever since buying a WG DD40 (my first full PM piece), I can't seem to enjoy any of the others like I used to. I mean I still love the other pieces don't get me wrong but there's just something about the WG DayDate that has me hooked. I love it. I rotate others in during the course of a week or two but the moment I get home, I find myself swapping immediately to the DD40. It's a perfect watch IMO. It feels great, it looks great, it has amazing heft... just a serious under-the-radar stunner! It won't be leaving the stable that's for sure (the Daytona won't either for what its worth).

Keep coming back to the Explorer II 16570... bought the black dial model with a 3186 movement a few years ago. Loved it, but really wanted the polar model. Traded the black dial for a BLNR, which I couldn't love despite my best effort. Finally picked up a Explorer II polar and it will be the last Rolex model I part with.

I've owned many Subs... 5513, 16610, 16613, 14060m, 11619, no longer. I think I'm over Subs. At least for now. I'm developing more eclectic tastes.

I have had three Glacier Blue Day Dates. I had one in white gold and two platinum ones. I honestly want a fourth!

BLNR - I’ve worn the Sub once in the last month. I suppose some day the new will wear off and I’ll show the Sub some love.

BLNR & LVc. I truly don't know if I could pick one over the other.

I’ve yet to sell any of my Rolex. The collection just keeps growing. Every time I put one on I haven’t worn in a while, I feel like I’m reconnecting with an old best friend. So, I keep coming back to each one and it never gets old.

I have to say the OP34. I have owned three now. Well, the first one had the name "Air-King" on the dial. I now have an Explorer 1 39mm, my first was the 36mm model. And I miss that as well. I have an SD43 on order, but I know that I will always miss the OP34. Matter of fact, I saw just the one I like best at the AD today, but I am going to wait for a while.

Cheers,
Carl

For me it’s these 2. Everything else has been sold, these two are perfection.

Ditto. I have really fallen for my Explorer, so much so that I think a date + cyclops looks terrible now.

16600, my favorite since the late 80s. Settled for a 5513 in 1989 because it was cheaper but later on got the 16600 and it is THE one I always go back to. Sold many over the course of the last 30 years and each time ended up buying again, not selling it again

GMT master II, new style ceramic black. Can’t beat it for an everyday watch that goes with everything for every occasion...

Once I pull trigger on YG DD 40, I may say the same thing.

GMT LN. I've considered parting with it, but its just such a wonderful part of my everyday life. Even the scratched PCL's! :P
