Many people choose between the Sub and GMT for their first Rolex. I chose the Sub. The GMT is an awesome, awesome choice! Congratulations!

Really nice! As another poster mentioned for us newbs it's usually between a sub or a GMT. I like the slimness of the sub no date but will probably never test it's 1000 ft depth rating. And I like the functionality of the GMT but have traveled so much I automatically keep the offset in my head where I go. It really has nothing to do practicality though. It's what speaks to us.

Mega congratulations.

Although we may be in the minority I too love the PCLs. Can be worn with a tux and (opposite to what some are saying) definitely cool in jeans or shorts too.

The GMT II is a better all round watch than the Sub ,tin helmet donned, imo, great choice it looks awesome.

Every day that you wear it will be a slightly better day.

I’m blown away at how it feels on my wrist. It’s my first Rolex so this is all new to me. I keep telling my wife it feels like I have a steel tank on my wrist but minus the weight. It’s so well made and you can feel that on the wrist. I’m
starting to see how potentially dangerous this whole Rolex obsession could become...Hahahaha
