Best of luck with the recovery, sir. The mountains aren’t going anywhere and those runs will welcome you upon your safe return. Stay healthy, and hit those slopes when you’re ready.

One other positive to add was the easy link 5mm adjustment. I literally used this every day. Kept the watch tight on the wrist when cold, then quickly opened the bracelet when I needed the extra room. Perfectly comfortable day & night.

Incredible pics. It amazes me seeing the lives people lead here on the forum. “Skiing in France” is just something I don’t think I will ever experience. Extremely envious of you Sir. I also have never really thought all that much of the Explorer II, but after seeing your pics, I really need to place that watch on my “to do list”

This year, the Skiing took place in another French resort - Val D’isere. Excellent ski, with incredible views of Mont Blanc. Once again, the Explorer II was the perfect tool for the job. EasyLink was simply perfection. Enjoy the pics.

Thank you all. There is just something about that polar white dial whilst on a mountain. Crisp. Fresh. Clean. Gotta love it. For those who don’t get it, I cannot explain it to you. :)

Another ski trip to France 🇫🇷 completed.
This time, we stayed at Courchivel, skiing at the 1650m & 1850m mountain range. Whilst there, also popped into the Rolex AD, but didn’t take any pics unfortunately. However, here are some of the Explorer II in its element. Even managed to find a “polar” cafe which served excellent coffee. ☕️

Enjoy.

Just an FYI... I used to ski with watches on bracelets - until I had a bad fall at speed - the bracelet held firm, but I suffered a pretty serious gash across my wrist, blood everywhere - still have the scar!
