If that's what you want, then go ahead. The subc is a fantastic watch, you will not regret it.

It's possible for sure. You just have to do the legwork.

Try the Jewelry District like you mentioned, some ADs, "trusted sellers", etc.

Check out this one too: https://www.ocwatchguy.com/

I've bought from Patrick before, he's a standup guy.

There is a dealer in the jewelry mart that I have bought from for quite a few years, and just got a fair deal on a trade. It doesn't hurt to try. You can always walk away.
Part of the fun for me is the negotiation.

One thing I’m also worried about the lack of Sinn service centers... ie 1 in the US or Germany

RGM handles Sinn's service in the USA. They do a terrible job and can't (or at least couldn't) handle the AR filled watches. Crappy (and expensive) service forced me to sell a perfect and complete NOS EZM1 when the L5100 started acting up.

Selling? Give Crown and Caliber a look. Safe, secure, no hassles, quick, honest. You won't get top dollar, but you won't get scammed either.

Maybe they'd have a used Rolex you'd be interested in buying or trading for.

C&C helped me downsize my bloated collection last year. Then I squandered every penny on three new SS Rolex references at my local AD.

Good luck!

He's also a sponsor and user in the Rolex forums. So you know that you won't get scammed when it comes to trades.

An email and a short phone call with one of our trusted sellers will lead you in the right direction. I would suspect you’d need to trade plus some cash but in the end you’ll be happy with your Rolex.

I’d give David or one of the other trusted sellers a call here. They will work out a reasonable deal.

IMO it’s not worth the hassle selling privately if you are of that mindset.
