Ebay has multiple levels of protection for the buyer but not so much for the seller. Craigslist provides no protection. The only time I've been successfully ripped off was on CL. I'd avoid that at all costs. On eBay I'd feel pretty good selling even though it is skewed towards the buyer. Selling through TRF can be risky as well, FWIW.
