Firstly, I'm glad to hear you are doing better and hopefully no more surgery.

The smooth bezel with oyster bracelet is one of my favorite combinations and your watch is stunning. Congrats and wear it in good health!!!

Congrats on your surgury!!

Would the community consider the DJ2 Azzurro with fluted bezel flashy? Or barely since it's SS?

I will have to admit it was pre-owned, still had some clear stickers on it. Really used or new it didn't matter, all I wanted was the blue dial and SS. Nobody had what I was looking for at the time and this AD kept lowering the price cause they knew I was a buyer (I guess). Also this one was calling my name. This is a DJII 41mm.

Glad to hear the surgery was a success.
An event like a major surgery puts life in perspective.. and we realize what’s important and that we only live once.

I have the fluted one, and I agree that smooth bezel with that dial is sportier and more versatile.

It looks great on u! Congrats on the watch and successful surgery.

Smooth bezel and the oyster bracelet is a good combo, IMO.

Maybe it’s the picture but the dial in your picture seems to be a different blue than the Datejust 41/36’s blue. There’s not a lot of contrast between the Roman numerals and the blue dial and the steel.
I would also consider these

Yes the colour is called azzuro , not the same as the dark blue

These are Datejust 41s. He went with a Datejust 2. Both great watches. I think the DJ2s as well as the DD2s will be very sought after in the future.

Congrats OP on a great watch and of course for the successful survey. Wear it in good health!
