This, for me this is enough reason to make the trade. The LN and the BLNR is probably more similar than different and personally I'd take a new watch with my name on the card any day of the week.

Unless you're really attached to the LN I see no reason not to.

I wouldn't call it an upgrade but I would go for the BLNR. I prefer a GMT to have a bicolor bezel.

In this case, wait too see what happens at Basel with the gmt line

Then decide

Personally I keep the LN as it's not really an upgrade but change for bezel/GMT-hand color. But a SS BLRO is an upgrade as it has new movement/bracelet/bezel/GMT-hand

IF the price is close, I would certainly consider the change. The BLNR is nice, but I would do it more to have a brand new watch with my name on the papers. But i also see the sentimental viewpoint.

My buddy has the LN and it does nothing for me personally, I like my GMT's bicolored

Keep the GMT LN or "Upgrade" to the BLNR

Today I was at a grey dealer and tried all 3.
BLNR trumps all. Coming from a guy who didn't care much for it until today and was in love with the BLRO
Now some quick pics

Tough one since the BLNR would be at retail... Still, I'd keep the LN, more versatile

I made the same mistake! Sold my first ever Rolex (GMT LN) years later bought one for thousands more as I always regretted it, keep the LN add another reference in future.

It’s the same watch! Just the bezel and the GMT hand that’s different (blue vs green).

If you just want a new watch, get the BLNR. Otherwise, save your money and whatever residual sentiment you have attached to the watch.

If you can get the BLNR at MSRP, hard to argue against that. Worst case, you do that.....regret it in 6 months, rebuy the LN and have a couple grand left over.

Now would I sell the LN on top of having to throw in an extra $4k or $5k more for a BLNR? Absolutely not.

I’d say go for it. No brainer. Congrats in advance!

BLNR. You’ll desire it until u get it. I’ve had both. Traded the LN for the BLNR. NO regrets.

I would keep the LN. This is because I dislike the BLNR. Your mileage may vary. Now, if it was a proposed switch to a TT CHNR.......

I'd do it. It'll probably be much easier to trade back for an LN than it will to find this deal again if you don't take it.

I’m afraid i will have a suggest a 3rd choice which is to trade for a 16710 Pepsi. I wouldn’t pay premium for the blue/black bezel.

I'd go for the BLNR. Regardless of what happens at Basel the color combination of the BLNR looks so much nicer than the all black bezel and green hand/lettering of the LN. My .02 this evening.
