The ADs I've talked with claim to have received no more than 2 or 3 since release. ADs I talk to are not the biggest ADs. And they probably downplay the numbers.

its the way it is and its a luxury purchase which makes the making it equal non sensical. A luxury item is a luxury item because its already out of reach to most. its not like we are talking about rationing food.
Its wealthy entitled people complaining because they are still not big enough spenders. someone always spends more so why get upset about it? If it was easy to get less people would actually buy it, so its not even about the watch. I eat at my favorite restaurant every week and have for years. Its not a high end restaurant at all but its always full. I dont need a reservation. Another example of a business prioritizing customers who give them a lot of business. Some random person can't walk in and sit down for a $15 dollar pizza. So its not even about money its about repeat business and a business looking after their regulars.

Why are you waiting almost a year for a watch you can have in your possession tomorrow? Carpe diem.... you can die waiting for your AD to decide to sell you this watch.... go to the grey market and get your watch! Chrono24 has 200+ listed for sale and even here in TRF there are a number of trusted sellers offering them with over night shipping..... Go get your watch and refund on your deposit. Then post some pics here for us all to enjoy.

I've never understood why getting on the plane first, so that every person who needs to board can bump you with their too large bags and other nonsense, is a desirable thing. I want to spend the least time on the plane possible.

I stopped by a local AD last week and they said they got 2 and sold them. We had a very nice conversation and they ended up taking my info and said they will be in touch. No sure if this has to do with being in for a SKY D and SD43 when they come. I haven't bought anything from them yet.

Yeah, doesn’t really make sense..just means first class passengers have to be on the plane longer instead of spending that extra time in the lounge. Then again, some people unfortunately derive pleasure from having things specifically because others don’t, so maybe for them, being seen in first class by all the economy flyers walking by is part of the “luxury experience”. |

If you want it so bad just pay the premium and have it on your wrist immediately. No sense getting frustrated about it. I paid a premium for mine and I'm glad I did. If the price drops to list tomorrow, would it bother me? No. Expect any luxury item to depreciate in value - cars, watches, leather goods, anything really.

One AD in my country told me that they have received 4-5 pieces. I do think that it is hard to get as the premiums are crazy so at least I am not interested in going down that route.

The only advantage to boarding early is getting overhead space, but they don't fill up 1st and B Class overheads with general boarding bags. |

I don't agree with this statement either, which is cool because that's what a forum is about, the healthy exchange of ideas and opinions.
But if you were the owner of the AD what would you do? If you receive one BLRO, who do you give it to? The first guy on the "list" or your long time customer who has spent $XXX,XXX on watches in jewelry over the years? As a business owner myself I know what I would do but I would be curious to hear other people's opinion. |

While I don’t like to wait at the airport, I actually like boarding first (I’m a United GS flyer). It helps ensure that you get carryon space and I can usually get a call or two done before the door shuts. |

Sorry to the OG. The owner of your store has his separate list and you are not on it. I'm in the same situation.

IMO. Lists are a guide with most AD's. A "guide". They hook up VIPs and friends which screw over the lists. Wouldn't be surprised if sales associates get tips or kick backs to keep the wheels greased.

If not, people will always jump you on the list and that’s why you are not progressing on the list. They’re no longer truly chronological lists. |

Exactly right. Everybody is on "the list" and most are on several lists so they are all inflated. Good luck in getting one. I was #1 on the list and the AD was cut by Rolex. After nearly 1 year they claimed they didn't even get one before loosing their AD status. Gotta wonder! Needless to say that list can just be flushed.

If your seat is comfortable enough and you are being served drinks it can be a lot more comfortable than sitting or standing at the gate packed in like cattle!

At least it seems like the incomings for these have had a bit of an uptick recently.

They say your on the list but then someone walks off the street buys a dd40 or a pm piece as a package and nobody gets the watch that was on the list. Stinks and I am over it. I’m going grey for mine after Basel

At the end of the day lots of money (ie lots of purchases over time or BIG purchase in one shot) talks and BS walks
It’s a business (at least from AD perspective) and the ADs are trying to maximize profits Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
