Not at all. Feel free to choose a vintage/second hand Rolex.

Thanks for the great responses...keep 'em coming!

Apart from the SS Daytona, this beauty would be next on the list!

Until they bring out a larger case Daytona with date I've kind of hit the Rolex wall for myself.
But sometime this year I will buy a GMT IIc for the wife.
Then she has to let go of my 16710.
Best,
Mike

I'm going by the 3 classic sport watches for SEAL, Sea, Air, & Land.

Already have this two:
Sea - SS Seadweller
Air - TT GMT IIc

So next on the list for me will be
Land - Daytona

I'm also looking to get different types of looks, so will likely go for either a yellow gold Daytona, or if I can save enough up, Everose Gold Daytona.

After I get all three ... maybe a dress watch Day-Date or something.

Currently on the prowl for 16760 Fat Lady. That will be next if the right one comes along. If not then either a 1675 or a 16700.

I either want a SD or a LV, but I think I would prefer the LV. I just don't get the Daytona love, it does nothing for me at all.

Just bought a Milgauss GV... does that count?

Other than that I'm not 100% what my NEXT one would be
