Go for it!

Let the Sub go to someone who will enjoy it.
Life is short, wear what you like.

Keep the Sub and save for the OP. Both are different watches that would compliment each other in a collection. The Sub ND is just too iconic to let go. You might miss it when you want something more sporty and iconic. Have you noticed the prices on the grey dealers are creeping up.

Given you have other 5 digit references I don't think moving the SubC for the OP would be a bad move.

I personally prefer the size of the 5 digits compared to the 6.

Go for it!

Great choices both! I got my first Rolex, an OP39 white, at the end of February. An instant classic and a pleasure to look at all day. I then got the bug and asked about a 114060 Sub - my incredibly helpful AD took care of me and now I have both. I’m still new to this, but boy they seem like the perfect pair to me...!

Nothing wrong with going crazy for something that looks so good.

Finally had some time for myself last Friday so I went into London put a deposit on it before seeing it in the flesh. After I put the deposit down, the saleslady said she'd make some calls to see how long it would take. After waiting an hour and plying me with beers in the meanwhile she was able to get a hold of one at a sister store. After a great experience, I came back with this bad boy

Seems like you already had your mind made up when you started the thread. Definitely go for it but not as a straight trade and then you can enjoy the cash your way for some nice holidays. The current Submariner has been out for quite a bit of time and there's been much progress with the other Rolex models so it's only a matter of time now before we see an upgraded iteration which might tickle your fancy more than this one.

I would keep the Sub and save to add the OP39 white. In fact, that is exactly what I am currently doing.

Sub is gonna go I've decided. I like the 16610 much better. Maybe I'll add a 14060 somewhere down the line.
