GMT LN is the best watch Rolex makes(made) imo.. But you should buy whichever you like best, which it sounds like the Explorer, so there you go.

I would not do that trade, but GMTs are my favourite Rolex watches. Personally I think PCLs are nice, scratches are annoying, but you get over it.
I really like the Explorer in pictures and wanted to buy it but something doesn’t resonate with me in person. But that’s all me, I have a Rolex watches with brushed center links, PCLs and Jubilee bracelets and I like changing it up. Sounds like you like the Explorer better. If that’s the case I’d advise you to sell the GMT for a profit and buy the Explorer from an AD, I’m thinking you’d end up with more cash that way. I’ve seen Explorers at a variety of ADs in recent months, not every time, but often enough that I would not fear being watch-less for too long.

Well, not to be too harsh but you should have remorse. You bought something just because it was being discontinued. That is as bizarre to me as the never ending threads here asking advice on what to buy. I know I'm not alone in feeling this way.

Get the Explorer, it's a beautiful watch. Always get what you want and wait patiently for it. Any other course of action is a waste of time and money.

brushed or on leather.
I wear my LN on black leather carbon fiber with green stitching, and sometimes switch back to the stainless bracelet with brushed links. Tones it down a bit, LOVE it.

116710LN vs 214270
I find this thread very interesting seeing that I was on the waiting list for a LN and had to change it for an Explorer once the LN was discontinued.
Both fantastic watches: |
