I fully expected to open this click bate and the first line be "...said no one ever..." or something like that...

This sounds kinds like the girl with too much makeup, cleavage for miles prominently displayed, wearing that short skirt that stops about a quarter inch below her underwear who can't figure out why all the boys only want to bed her...

Rat him out by naming AD on TRF, then flip one of those watches.

AD will join forum and post a denial and probably never sell you another watch...problem solved.

Tell him you will put him on your “list” of priorities to answer

My favorite SA at the AD emails or calls if something comes in she thinks I might like. Be it an OP/DJ or the CHNR. Was offered the CHNR when it first arrived and 1x since. I’ve told her my finances aren’t ready for that purchase, given other obligations. Yet, she continues to touch base since I was the first to inquire about it after Basel.

More importantly, and different to many here, we developed a nice personal relationship based on similar interests and family. She asks me personal questions prior to anything else since we have made that connection. Yes, it’s a small mom & pop business and I love it for that reason! They let me “play” 20 questions and visit just to try stuff on & dream of “some day”...I know I’m a lucky one in that regard.
Rant over...just a different perspective on “developing a relationship”.

If they smell money and a quick sale to someone that has already bought several, they are following a pretty good model for success.

I got a call from a SA from a local AD a few days ago. I have tried to call him back a couple of times as a courtesy (already acquired the watch I wanted) and both times he has been "with another client." The person who answered the phone took my name down and I haven't gotten a call back.

Wondering if the other SAs are not relaying my message.
