The 16610 is always a great first. The LV isn't a bad choice either. The 16610 was my first. Even though I have more than just one, I still wear my first the most.

When I bought my first Rolex, I knew exactly which one I wanted, the 16610. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. Simplistic and understated beauty with an amazing history to boot.

I agree with JJ. The SS Sub w/date is awesome. Always has been, always will be. You will never regret that purchase. Then, as your collection grows (and I can tell from your post that it will, if fact, grow) you can add other Subs.......or whatever you want. Good luck and don't forget to post pictures next week when you get it.
