I love its size. I sometimes think I might want something bigger.

I think it’s a great size, certainly not too bulky.

I thought the SubC was too bulky. You’re not alone.

5513 or 14060 are perfect, actually prefer non sel for comfort. 16710 are lightweight and comfortable to wear too

16610 is perfect. 16710 is a little small given the crown and smaller case back. 6 digits subs you may as well just get a block of steel and wear that, ugly.

I own both a Sub and an OP39, and can confirm that the Sub is indeed bulkier. With the OP, I even forget occasionally that it’s on. Love them both, nevertheless ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes it is bulkier than an OP..... and it’s also a sports diver with rotating bezel capable of 300 meters and has a glide lock clasp. I’m always amazed by how svelte it is.

I've got a couple of Subs and I find them a little heavy on the wrist when I'm wearing them for work all day, same goes for the GMTs .
The Yachtmaster and Daytona is the most comfortable to wear for long periods of time |

I’ve got the 14060m and a OP36 and I find both equally comfy in the wrist. I find the Sub wear better than my Omega 2254. The Sub is clearly more presence on the wrist than the OP but equally it’s not a big watch

Only thing I find bulky on the subc is the clasp. Or bulky... But that is the part of my subs that likes getting scratched.

My 2c worth: When you are looking at the size of a watch and how it wears, a few important things to consider are: your wrist size, your overall stature, and how you want to present a watch. A Sub C will be bulkier and heavier than an OP39. ( I don't have an OP39, but I can relate it to my Explorer 1, which is similar and very comfortable to wear). I have a 6.75 inch wrist and my Sub C feels very comfortable, and nicely balanced, although different to an Explorer 1. You need to try a Sub C and make your own judgement. If you feel it is a little large for your particular requirements, then I suggest you try a 5 digit Sub. I have experience with both and can tell you there is a difference in weight and feel. I think you will be able to find a Sub that will suit you. Good luck. ![]() |

I wear Panerai in addition to Rolex so a Rolex never feet to big. I actually prefer my SD 5 digit to my Subs because the extra heft.

I wouldn’t say the six digits were too bulky for general wear, but I would say the five digits are less bulky, wear and look better.

You must wear really tight cuffs. Even my DSSD will fit under.

16610 is the perfect size if the six digit is an issue.

I love my Sub-C. Totally get where you’re coming from, having a thin watch and worrying about the bulk. I’m a woman and my previous daily wear timepiece was a Cartier Tank Franc XL. It is super thin. I was slightly concerned about adjusting to the relative bulk of the Sub, but I freaking love it. LOVE. It would be easier for you if you could try one on at an AD to ease your mind, but we all know that’s not possible. I was lucky enough to have one living with me before I purchased (my husband has one), so I got the chance to wear it enough around the house to be confident before I purchased. My advice would be to try getting one if you love it. Worst case scenario you can’t adjust and you sell it on the secondary market. You will not have an issue.

Definitely not bulky... the word bulky is reserved for Panerai lol. I think 5 digits are definitely slimmer and easier to wear then 6 digit. Honestly, there are pro and con with each variant but I never thought the maxi case is too big.
