You've done alright, you've established a foothold. Give it a few months. Question now is, what are your plans after the sub?

I think you handled it well. Now go back in in a few weeks and tell them how much your wife liked the diamonds. Look at inventory and follow up on the Rolex request. See where it takes you. While waiting, stay up on the Grey market with our TS. If the right watch shows up, just buy it and stop with the games and get on with ownership. Good luck.

Well very little of the rate limiting step in an AD’s relationship is unfortunately in our hands!!
Some folks will get “hot watches” from ADs without a previous relationship and others will spend $100k+ and still nothing! It’s the ADs ethics and business model that will mandate what this relationship will look like

However, spending on something you wanted and staying with one AD sure doesn’t hurt!

Mention at the AD that any Rolex you ever purchase from them will remain in your possession and you won’t ever turn it.

An AD is happy to work with you if you ever wish to trade your Rolex for another Rolex.

Seems good to me - check back from time to time without being a pest. A friendly email telling them how much your wife liked the earrings etc. Just don't seem like your pestering them for the watch.

Have your wife drop in to ask for you, while wearing the earrings.

Say she wants it to be a surprise.
