Because they are lazy and do not do the footwork to see it in the metal .Their conclusions are based on pics on a computer screen .

Probably because they want to scream all day: LOOK AT ME!!! And the sub,gmt etc are simply more recognizable watches. I must confess that some people nowadays certainly notice the polar by the way

18 months ago you could buy them from AD windows. I haven't seen one at my AD for a year.

Cool watch , especially in the white , orange hand , steel bezel , I think the tide has turned on this watch and will only gain popularity as the years roll on...one of my favourites should of bought one sooner.
