And that’s why I don’t care for the modern Tudors. No half links or a couple more micro adjustments is just plain poorly designed. I wanted to love my THC Blue but couldn’t get it to fit right on the bracelet. So I flipped it.

I think Tudor has taken on more than they could handle.

Have there been any reported issues with the first Black Bay with in house movement and a date (the BB Steel)?

I only ask because I own one and it's been flawless.

Because the bracelet didn’t fit your wrist? My THC and BB GMT bracelets fit perfectly. BTW, there are full and half connection links that attach to the clasp. My THC came with a half link, my BB GMT with a full link. Should be able to source one of those to get a personalized fit.

My wife and son own the In-House Movement BB (one red and one black bezel).
Like you, their experience has been that the watches have been flawless. Great looking watches and fantastic value for money / bang for buck.

Really? I’ve asked at my AD and Tourneau (just in case) and both said that half links were unavailable (for 79220B).
I don’t think it’s a deal breaker like AJ says but it would be very nice to have more adjustability for my bracelet because it is either tight or loose. Would you happen to know where I can source a half link Dan?

That’s interesting because my Tudor Pelagos has better bezel action than my Rolex divers. In fact, better than any diver I own. Ratchets very smooth, easy to turn and grip but not easy enough that it moves on its own, and it has a hard stop at 12 o’clock...not too mention great lume.
Everyone has different experiences, kinda like cars. I have been wearing the heck out of my Pelagos for over a year and it has been awesome. Great value, great visibility, great value, almost perfect size, and great weight (titanium).

Looks like I might have spoken too soon. If you look at the bracelet link that connects to the clasp, it's twice as long as the same link on my THC. Unfortunately, the rivet and THC bracelets have different center link sizes, so not sure if Tudor provides connecting links in both sizes.

Is it me or does the date look not 100% straight? Like it needs to move a tiny bit more? I noticed it a couple of times on the gmt

Not sure Tudor was readyfor their little surge in popularity. Making watches is something. Making quality watches in great numbers is something else.

Then it puts Tudor in the same league as Rolex as the larger Day Date had the same issues when newly released.
