Aka the "Fat Lady". Interestingly enough that model only came with the Coke insert. Of course you can swap it later but it was the default color.

That thing is GORGEOUS.

The BLRO is in my estimation the most beautiful of the GMT-IIs.

Given a ludicrous watch budget, this would be one of my first purchases.

That’s the real deal right there. Sorry, 6 digits can’t come close. When I close my eyes and think gmt, it’s this and the 5 digit Pepsi that I think of. They are the archetypical gmt’s.

I agree. The new ones (Batmans, Supermans... whatever) do absolutely NOTHING for me, either.

But I'm the first one to admit that 1675 and 16750 are even nicer. I wish I had bought one when the prices were still reasonable.

You and me both lol. I was thinking of adding or trading for a Pepsi, but cannot justify paying those prices for watches that are very easily obtainable. I feel because so many of the 5 digits have been made, the price run up in them is more absurd than the mark up in new daytonas.

GMT is definitely more "photogenic" watch but nothing beats the 16610 Sub, which (imho) is the best 5-digit ever made, bar none.

The Coke is a better colour combo than the Pepsi imho.

Yeah especially with these newer Coke inserts that had darker red color and different color shade.
