I still believe the inventory, the real number of 126710 BLRO for sale hasn't reached a great enough volume to cause prices to fall far. Looking at chrono24 this morning and only searching for watches for sale in the US, it brings up 86 pieces. without looking at each ad, I look at how many ads have a stock Rolex photo and not a photo of the actual watch. Give or take, About half the ads have a stock photo. When I see a stock photo it often times means the seller doesn't have the watch but is fishing for an offer and will try to fill the order if he gets a potential buyer. So the real inventory of BLRO for sale is still low enough to keep asking prices up. keeping secondary market prices high, keeps traffic in the Rolex AD who can offer pieces to someone purchasing multiples. my .02.

As a reference, the CHNR is exactly what it was last year. I also just traded it in for a new BLNR and I know what dealers are offering for it in reference to what it is selling for. The new watches are holding TOP trade-in dollar at the right places. |

Odd thread. If a person is interested in tracking the market conditions on a luxury item he purchased that is suspicious? Why is that?
Or...just trolling for a response I guess... |

![]() ![]() I’ll let my forum history speak for itself I don’t “obsess” as I have purchased a lot of new Rolex models in the last year. That puts me in the front row of what is actually going on and what the real world prices are. I have a lot of friends in the industry that are very well respected trusted sellers. I watch where I feel is a good time to jump in on a model. I certainly am not waiting years to buy a watch and want to be somewhat educated in the current trend of a watch I am interested in buying. I love to look at new watches and I am always looking at new possible purchases from AP, Rolex, Panerai, etc... I am what you call a “long time player” in this hobby. Nuff money talk, let’s talk watches. |

One word: Seasonality.
The bubble burst crowd only has a point if this trend continues into Christmas and New Years. |

so what you're saying is- worse case everyone who paid 18k for a BLRO is going to lose 3-5k and everyone who bought at MSRP is still up 3-5k? seems like old news to me

Both Rolex models settled down to a price point I felt were close to market value. Either way the watches are always more important than the admission cost. ![]() |

let's be honest here, Rolex will NOT want one of their popular watch to go up twice in retail value, then takes a deep dive after a few months...that's just bad for the brand.
The old trick to protect that from happening is to cut global stock, but that card has been played out, so many times..with China watch market now in shamble, I assume Rolex will re-gather their game plan to prevent they find themselves in this position again. And that usually means going after the grey market.

Yes. BNIB. And I’m not just talking about one single solitary piece.
Also hulk for £10.5k The BLRO tho, that’s still up there in price around the bottom of what mystro indicated I think these prices are crazy for what they are but It doesn’t put me up or down as I have no intention of buying such I guess you’ll just have to trust me on this as I choose not to disclose locations

Its very interesting to read all these comments. Im new here and not a frequent poster. I have purchased several Rolex's but just for the sake of enjoying the watch. That includes a few vintage pieces as well. Whether they go up or down I really don't care. I laugh when i see the people selling vintage on here and on IG cause they are buying a much more expensive piece. THATS BS.......i have learned from some long term whole salers and vintage dealers, THEY NEED THE MONEY...hahaha....Financial balance is key. :) and just enjoy your timepiece ...

This means different things to different people But I have found that the more I look at and read about watches, the more it detracts from enjoyment of those that I have - and I really enjoy those which I have - because looking at all these others makes me want more - and the problem is there are hundreds of different watches out there across all different brands which appeal to me and I would love to own. I’ve decided that it’s unhealthy to follow this route I have what I have and I believe it is a great collection and I am very fortunate to be in a position to own these. I feel very privileged The market can do what it does - I am done
