Geeeez this is what we get for forking thousands and thousands more dollars to a watch company that prides itself in luxury and prestige? Tell that representative to shove that three point crown up his, the manager, and the technician’s a$$.

Good luck on the email to corporate OP!

Any company worth their salt should be prepared to tell customers exhibiting this behaviour that they do not need their custom any more.

Years ago, around 2008, the Dallas office in uptown across the street from the Rittz was always professional.

Sorry to hear that happened, OP. I think one of the ways Rolex justifies their price tag (and the cost of a service at a RSC) is the notion that they have such high quality control. Clearly that fell down here, thru human error or bad process or whatever.

Please keep us posted on what happens with getting the scratch fixed!

Of course, they should correct any scorch marks they made.
I agree with this.

They still are - in their new location. Have had nothing but fabulous service and treatment from them (and the RSC in NYC as well). Anyone can make mistakes (even me) as long as they correct them in a reasonable way. I'd say partial link replacement seems fair.
