I'm not sure what you thought you were buying up until yesterday. They are mass produced watches. Nice watches and at times hard for most to get at retail pricing but not exactly the high end of the watch world when it comes to price, exclusivity, complications and rarity.

The question isn't what kind of BS "we" are into...I didn't spend a half million at the jewelry store...that was you.

Yea... Forum foul. Before anyone goes any further into responding to the OP. It doesn’t appear as if he has the watches he says he does according to his past posts. That might skew the integrity of the post. At least a pic might be required to clear this up. Otherwise this may be a another troll post.
What’s going on as there has been a few of these lately on TRF.

this is not a fun hobby anymore
purchasing a watch has morphed into weird hoarding of superhero names
and if its not rolex/patek the paranoia of the watch depreciating in value is very real

im personally taking a break from buying because this genuinely sucks

Don’t blame you, as a buyer of Rolex watches vintage and new for the past 30 years I’ve had enough, this limiting supply carry on is going to back fire big time and the buyers like me (cut my head off and find Rolex written all the way through) will never come back.

Is Russ the guy who bought 5 Rolexes and also demanded the framed picture on the wall be included in his purchase? Or some crazy post like that a few months ago?

There’s a million a year produced so dont foolishly beleive the hype there no limited editions no rarity only perceived value and that’s key it’s perceived by those who have a vested interested - read the story the emporers clothes it’s no different honestly

Typical insecure flex. Tranlation: "I'm better than all you of the lower orders because I have all the supercool toys and can afford anything I want." Also, OP, clean up your language on the title. This is a family friendly environment.

Lol according to this thread of yours you had in the beginning of the year one date just, one seadweller, two Breitlings and one Grand Seiko, and was thinking of downsizing to 3 pieces.

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=647867

Instead of downsizing did you really go out and buy all the hot pieces in less than a year?
