I wear mine all the time with the exception of shower and sleep. Sleep out of habit and to me I cant clean the watch nor my wrist properly in the shower.

Yes I bet it won't, even with it on your hand with some.

Only if you wear long sleeve jammies to protect the watch from bed sheet scratches.

Actually I switch watches to one I can read after six hours in the dark. Otherwise I always wear a watch to bed. I've been doing so as long as I know and I've never had a problem.

I think this is correct. I always bought watches with lume and wore them sleeping. In no time they would develop a patina of scratches, hairlines, all over the band and case. So I finally bought a nice clock with a red display and have not worn a watch sleeping in many years and my watches are better for it.

Hasn't been a problem for my watches.

FYI, if you do, and your watch gets overwound, you probably don't have to worry about an SO's diamonds.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid people.
I sometimes sleep with a watch on having forgotten to take it off. Went on a weeks cruise and it didn't leave my wrist at all.

Never sleep with my watch on. Also not when I need to sleep in a hotel due travelling abroad for my work.

Wow, there's a serious problem I'd never thought of. Time to invest in microfiber sheets.

If bad sheets are damaging Rolex watches then I'd recommend leaving the watch in the safe and never wearing it just to make certain it remains unmolested. We have considerably different perspectives of what wear to a watch is.

I’m not kidding like the posters above

I’ve seen posts where a diamond destroyed the sapphire

Other than that, enjoy wearing it 24/7!
That happened to me. My wife was walking beside me and her diamond ring rubbed against the sapphire and put a scratch on it.

Yup, I’m more scared of that than if taking my watch to the gym or for a swim

Yes the DD is meant to be worn every day . Why do you think it tells you the day and the date ? That my friend is a tool watch made and used for its intended purpose every single day you wear it . I sleep with me watches on, safest place it can be !

I once heard a guy on here claiming that Rolex's are so watertight that he hid his watch in his upper toilet tank as a super good hiding spot that no burglar would ever think to look. Now I did not ask if anyone else agreed with that idea of a hiding spot lol but does anyone agree about the level of waterproofing?

I tend to fall asleep with my watches on. Never had an issue until a week ago when I was sleeping and rolled over and plopped my arm over onto my night stand and my blnr took a direct hit to the bracelet. Woke me up and I immediately checked over the watch. Wasn’t that bad but could’ve been worse, so I now take my watches off before bed.
