When I glance in a dealer case I can’t tell at a glance if I’m looking at a 37mm or 40mm Yachtmaster unless they’re side by side. If it fits you, go for it.

The way I look at it is this.

If you buy something everyone else hates, you just did the entire collective a favor. That's one less piece an AD has to move and one piece closer to letting an AD sell a stainless steel model.
