That would pretty much end the 5270 line. Makes sense with only two current offerings I believe, if you include the black diamond bezel model.

I honestly hope they discontinue 5205G Blue as that will shoot up the price and I can finally offload it. It's the only watch I don't want in my collection. Worn it for 72 hours ever since acquiring it.

I can see the 5726A being discontinued, but not the 5990/1A.

The 5990 is far too new.

What I do see, however, is the 5980/1R getting discontinued (along with the 5980R), in favor of a 5990/1R possibly.

I'll be sad if the 5711/1A White dial is discontinued before I can get one. I missed out on the 5726/1A White and was very sad as a result.

Oh well! Hopefully Patek replaces them with other exciting variants. :) They sometimes kill with no replacement (i.e., 5204P Black dial last year).

Oh, my contact in the Stern empire said that to further increase profits, Patek sports watches would be made out of aluminum. Movements would retain their high finishing.
