100% agree. While I have the Deep Blue dial, both the black and blue dialed versions are amazing watches. The new 126660 changes help quite a bit as well.

I got one soon after they came out circa 2008, was my mostly daily for a few years. If I ever again add another Rolex diver it will be the DSSD or SD-43 over a Sub.

Waiting to possibly trade mine for a D-Blue sometime in January.
I very well may not, though, because I do love mine, but need to see them side by side as well as on my wrist before anything. Going by photos of the D-Blue and only seeing it 1 time very quickly, it is a beauty, but so is the black.

I have tried the blue and really like it, but don’t think I would trade the black. I would certainly add it, but if only one, I prefer the black.

For me, I can't see having both. I know it's going to be a hard decision once I get them side by side.

Understandable. I have always liked my coffee and my dive watches BLACK.

Agree it’s all subjective and glad u are so happy with it. For me I can’t get past the unnecessary text around the dial and the heft. I have a SDK4000 that is a favorite and a keeper.
