I caught that too. I've never seen any SS Daytona in the case since at least before 2008.

Gorgeous piece. I was offered one at a local ad around the same time as you... turned it down then as I thought the color was a little overwhelming. Funny how perceptions change...

This was in an Asian AD so maybe their policies were a little "flexible"? I don't remember how much they wanted for the black Daytona but it was definitely above retail. I remember this because I was wearing my white Daytona at the time and the sales assistant wanted to buy it from me.

That's my white Daytona in the corner of this shot:

Just found this other photo. Looks like they had a Batman in stock as well.

Wow! Congratulations on your great looking LVc! Nice pictures in different lighting. It's an amazing dial. I think you'll find the Hulk is a keeper. Enjoy it in good health. Cheers!

Congratulations. There is nothing else quite like it.

It's green all right. I wouldn't call it big though. I guess it's all relative. My Sub Dates are the smallest watches I own. (Apart from a 39mm POS which I never wear and really should throw out)

The LVc is so pretty in person. If I got a sub, it would be that one without question. Good snag!

Correct. It takes some getting used to if you are coming from 4 or 5 digit models but, overall, I find the sub wears very comfortably on my 6.5 inch wrist and isn't particularly big.
