Update
Hi Guys just to let you know I had quiet a frank. conversation with the dealer over WhatsApp so I have documented proof of the conversation, I gave. him the oppurtunity to make things right and he laughed at me, decided to call me and threaten me saying come to the shop he will teach me a lesson, after that I went all guns blazing on the WhatsApp convo told him he will be as famous as. our Ozzie friend Horology House after today, mentioned I will put up reviews on forums and all social media outlets, Told him I have email asking for advice from the owner of Luxury Bazaaar Roman Sharf (he was class ) giving me his advice which he smugly said he knows him personally, penny dropped when I showed him the email trail, I also said I would report him to Chrono24, he has agreed to. pay for the. certificate lets see if he sticks to his word, im finding uploading pics really difficult on this site im not much of a tech geek, will keep you guys posted |

Hope the seller comes through with the extract. But in any case you got an awesome piece at a good price so enjoy it
I think I-serial APs were from around 2012-2016. I have a K-serial bought in 1H 2019, but I think AP just recently went to randomized serials |

You are doing the right thing and gave him every chance to correct the "mistake".
Seller should pay for the certificate and after being threatened I would go all out and spare no expense to pay the bill with interest as a matter of principle. 1. Jump in the plane and report to the local police. 2. Hire a lawyer and make a court case and sue him for all associated costs. 3. Visit the dealer and see how strong he really is. No harm in naming this pos dealer. ![]()

He has no way of obtaining the CoA since the watch needs to be sent to Switzerland. That said, a CoA is around £250-280, but the price you mentioned previously is likely to include a service. AP London will confirm all what needs doing to get it, and you don’t need to have it serviced in order to obtain the CoA. If the watch is running fine, test fine on WR, then you can hold off on the servicing for another 2-3 years. |

I have asked for £1000 so I can get the watch sent over to Switzerland and have a certificate of authenticity issued, do you think this is sufficient or am I better off doing a service and having a service papers

You can opt for the CoA now, then worry about servicing the watch a few years from now, if/when it shows signs that it needs it, or fails the WR pressure testing, should you bother doing that annually. |

The fake warranty card would really displease me.
Personally I would take matters further but following the great quote from above, I’m far more interested in principles than principal

Latest Update 11th Feb 2020
Hey guys, I have had my bank account deposited for the total amount of £976.96 by the seller so I guess the matter is closed. My question is now what do I spend the money on which will be closest to the warranty card and peace of mind for a future. buyer, what has the most value, A AP SERVICE, EXTRACT PAPERS or shall I just order the certificate of authenticity. advice would be appreciated |

I would just wait until you do a service and have those papers as authentication. If you're not looking to sell you don't need them so why not put the 1k quid you got towards the future service. If you think of selling it in the near future, id just order the certificate of authentication, not the extract |

Good job! Shame on the seller to have attempted to stress you out. Anyway, all’s well and enjoy your watch.
