True. But it's funny that the term came out in 1994.

Now there's spornosexual and ubersexual. (which doesn't mean a guy that takes Uber)

I think it’s very pretty, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Really? For some reason the first time I heard that term was from South Park. I’m not sure where the term originated from.

Yeah, sometimes it takes a while for these things to sift down to popular culture and lingo.

Probably sometime in the early 2000 for me. But the concept has been around for centuries.

The "dandy", the Errol Flynn type, the guy in the cave paintings that had a cheetah skin instead of a bear skin.

Whats wrong with pretty? Thats a good thing, a lot of watches are. Too pretty? That may not be so good. (Too) being a key word, I'm not a big TT or Daytona guy but yours is definitely pretty and probably the best looking Tona and TT in one I've ever seen. It just mixes and matches so well. Too pretty is the diamond bezel DJ I spotted at an AD last week and that was not a good thing to me. Anyway, I love your Daytona it's very pretty but not Too.

Pretty maybe the wrong expression.

Flamboyant maybe, pretty, no.

I really considered buying a Pink Date Just a couple of years ago. I still might one day because I think it’s beautiful, and no-one I care about is going to think I’m a girl because I wear it.

I felt that way about the Rhodium dial YM 40.

Lovely watch but I think it would take a bit of getting used to as I wasn’t sure if it had a feminine look.

I do think some Rolex models are a little "dainty" more so than "too pretty". The Daytona's with PM bezels I think fall into that category; the ceramic bezels make them a little more sporty and the increasing trend of women opting for a Daytona I think has amplified the "dainty" persona of the PM Daytonas. That said, they are not girly, and they're definitely for all - not just women or men. I think they're a great, pretty, watch; and one that converges upon "jewelry" to some degree. That is not a good or a bad thing, it is a matter of taste. Nothing more and nothing less!

Yellow gold and two tone aren’t for me. Tacky to me. But different strokes.

I'm curious what thoughts they evolve for you that would cause you to consider them "tacky?"

That watch is stunning. Looks very masculine. But even if it didn't who cares it's your watch. if you love it wear it in good health

Fifty years ago maybe "too pretty" might have been a thing, but times have changed. Your own personal taste is what matters, really. If others don't like it, it's their problem.

Okay, I'll say it...since no one else has.

Sometimes, when wearing a Rolex, I gotta kiss myself, I'm so pretty. (sung to the tune of "Uptown Funk")

If you mean can a watch look feminine? Yes I think some watches look more feminine than others. I don't have a problem with that though.

Hell no. I love that Daytona dial combo. Any Daytona is smaller and less “rugged” than a rotating bezel model but who cares?
