Numerous other threads on this topic. But, yes your Rolex can handle anything you dish out: combat / war zone, tennis, golf, etc

Play golf regularly with DD or GMT on and never an issue. SD took much more abuse. Not too interested in buying watches that I can only wear when dressed in black tie or working at a desk.

Always wore my Omega Seamaster for jetsking, waterskiing, and tubing and plan on doing so with my Explorer II as soon as boating season arrives. Currently wear it while exercising with no issues.

Not a fan of wearing a watch while playing sports/exercising as I find that it gets in the way of what I'm doing. Only exception would be walking/hiking on a cool day.

I wore my sub in an Ironman. You're fine It'll get clean in the shower.

Weightlifting is hard with a watch, with the straps for support and cables brushing wrists etc.
But most other sports I feel confident wearing it!

I see a guy at the tennis courts frequently that rocks a Sub while playing. Whatever works, Rolex makes a tough watch.

I wear a g-shock.

That is why I have a Garmin. I beat up a GMT and felt bad about it. Not worth the risk of doing damage in my opinion.

I don’t wear mine during exercise/training/racing. Not because I’m afraid of damaging it, but because it’s the wrong tool for the job.

I can assure you, it will take anything you throw after it. My 2002 16610 has been exposed to almost everthing you can imagnine including sauna followed by icebaths .
Only had one service and still runs like a champ.
Don´t worry

Now, that's interesting as I always take my watches off when I go into the sauna. I guess I must be paranoid but my Galaxy Active 2 watch really heats up after 20 minutes in the sauna. This can't be good for my Sub ND...

I wear my 16610 daily for pretty much everything...except for prolonged periods of typing haha. It stays on my wrist for weightlifting, running, hiking, shower, sleep. It definitely shows that it stays on my wrist but I think it has a bit of character because of it. To each their own though.

I wear mine doing most things and of course it works as designed. I wear a Casio if I'm doing anything especially high impact, risky to me or the watch! No-one wants some metal crimped to their arm.

Golf it throws my swing off. Squash you’re not allowed for safety reasons, I wouldn’t anyway. Cycling no way I’m trying to save grams.

Leisurely jet skiing, snorkeling etc on a holiday? Sure.

Man I’ve had all 3 in the sauna since my 20’s! They get hot they get cold again haha I think Rolex had an old ad where they boiled a (really old!) sub in a pot for 10 mins and it was absolutely fine. Imagine how far they’ve come on 6 digit ceramic models. IMHO They are designed and over-engineered to do far greater things than our normal daily lives can throw at them.. hence why I never take my watch off for anything. Enjoy your Sub ND sir!

Why spend a ton of money on a watch and be afraid to wear it.

I wore my DJ for 30 years straight. I was very early in my career when I got it, and used to go straight from work to the gym. I know I wore it working out, which was always followed by a whirlpool, steam and sauna. I also wore it playing tennis and skiing. Can't remember if I wore it running. I'm sure I wore it playing volleyball and softball, as those were work-sponsored teams and I never stowed my watch away rather than having it on my wrist. It was fine. FINE. I had it serviced when it needed it, which was probably 3-4 times.

I admit I don't wear my Daytona for sports, but that is partially because I don't work, so can dress accordingly for an event rather than coming straight from the office. I played tennis recently against a guy who was wearing a white 16520 Daytona. We talked watches for a minute. He wears it all the time. Looked great from across the net. Looked much better than his backhand.

So, I am not sure if 30 years of wearing a Rolex playing sports and hitting the steam/sauna/etc. is enough of a test or not but I think it's indicative of how solid these watches are. That said, I take off the Daytona for furniture moving and sports these days, but wear it an average of probably 14 hours/day.

You should be ok playing the roulette....

I wear mine at the gym all the time. The only risk I see is getting dings. Im not worried for the movement.

I may be in the minority here. If there is a risk of damage to the watch, I'll wear my beater and not think twice about it.

One of my biggest concerns is not being able to replace them very easily if something were to happen.

Playing sports while wearing Rolex

I have strong opinions here considering the people I see at gym wearing their Rolex... they are the loudest, most fashionably conscious folks there. I’m sure it’s not everyone, but for most part, if you need to wear your watch during gym time or playing sports, you are likely looking for attention you’ll never get from others.

Take it off. It will be there when you get home to remind you how awesome you are.
