The 14060m and 114060 look and wear very different.

One is a classic. One is controversially disproportionate that looks huge on most people’s wrists:

OK so 6 digit case/lugs are larger than 5 digit, so what? My 216570 makes the size of the 114060 seem just right on my avg human 6.5” wrist.

Oh and last I checked Rolex is having no problem selling 6 digit subs, at least all the SS shown here as seen by... well how many on this forum can walk into their local AD and see one for sale in the case?

Rolex has no incentive (mass populous) to change tooling on a 6 digit case while current capital assets are ~ utilized

That one pic is enough to make me dislike all my current watches. What a great shot!

True.
But I imagine that Rolex could almost sell all the cat sh*te they could harvest with Swiss made sugar on top and the right "Rolex way" spin on it.
Just as long as the buying public perceives it to be hard to get and investment grade and socially desirable on internet media and Instagram etc, etc

There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it and I must master my life. Without me my Submariner is useless. Without my Submariner, I am useless. I must wear my Submariner true.
