On looks they are each nice
The thickness of the omega is my main gripe.

Yeah agree it’s too thick, had a friend try this on, was big even on his 8” wrist. The guy wears a Panerai.

Depending on how you're going to wear it: If it's a one watch stable, I'd go sub as it can be worn with more varied attire.. the SMP GMT is a great watch - and I love it, but it's a more distinct watch, that serves certain situations and/ or dress. Great to have in a collection. I'd lean towards sub, and presently I'm a Rolex die-hard that is wearing Omega.

i think the planet ocean is more comparable to the seadweller or DSSD.
it's way to thick for daily use but the bracelet makes the weight more bearable. The sub is just better overall |
