As someone who owns neither, I've always seen the full gold more blingy than TT when I see on others' wrists

Agree to disagree. As others stated, WG or platinum maybe. Yellow / rose gold have way more bling than TT.

Agree, lots of teenagers wearing gold "colored" fashion watches like Michael Kors or even Casio. People are likely to assume a full gold watch is a cheap quartz or a replica.

Agreed with many of the comments on here. Of all the watches I have ever owned TT Bluesy got the most attention by a long shot. Anytime I wear a YG Rolex, I feel like everyone thinks its a Michael Kors watch...which is fine by me!

Unless when I am in Miami or Vegas, then that rule doesn't apply lol.

I feel a YG DD is more blingy than a tt YG. I have a TT YG daytona and a RG YM40, between the two the Daytona is actually more eye catching. I do think this is linked to the oysterflex and bezel design of the YM though.

Yes, agreed. To some people it probably reads like a $200 Swatch if they don't know the difference, so they don't bat an eye ...

I’ve received more compliments on my CHNR and in the past my bluesy, than any other watch on my wrist. None of the other watches in fact have received any compliments from non-watch people.

It’s easy to see why.

I think if "you know" then full gold is more blingy.... but you kinda need to know what you are looking at!

I apologized to my computer and my monitor for clicking on that link

Funny how "full gold" Bluesy clone costs the same as the TT version of it.

I simply can't wait to get mine, and hardly ever wear it, to keep as new looking for as long as possible!

Such a great looking watch, in this picture, the dial almost looks brown... I wonder if they will come out with a brown dial rootbeer?

Thank you for the pictures sir!

Those Invictas are astonishing. In the same watch you get a Breitling and a Rolex... In other words a Brolex.

The bluesy is a very iconic Rolex design and it will certainly standout. I remember when I was much younger and had a homage to the bluesy and it got constant comments of people thinking it was a Rolex. I stopped wearing it due to that.

That said, I don't think a full PM yellow or rose gold Rolex is going to go under the radar. Maybe it has a bit more a stealth factor these days because there are so many large gold plated watches out there.

Gold watches stick out more unless you're wearing 100s of grammes's of gold elsewhere, if both are in sight anyway.

Fashion watches come in all the different colours for sure.
Of course no-one really notices unless they are a thief, magpie or fellow watch geek.

Best pics I've seen of this watch. I absolutely love mine. Not an everyday wearer for me, but when I do put it on I can't help but look at it. My Sub is my day to day wearer. Had a few compliments on that but the CHNR I've only worn a handful of times and already had a few nice comments.

Its because of the contrast on models like the Sub/GMT

Full Gold however is unbeatable. Its the ultimate dream of many to own a full gold Sub/GMT/DayDate and it was my dream ever since I started with SS.

havent worn SS in years now. Dont care for them at all.

Two tone Rolex are more bling than full gold?

I think it depends on the actual watch. Some aren't, some are.

I get that sometimes they are, esp in darker lights when the contrast of metals draws more attention, but in decent/bright lights the yellow gold is certainly blingier, whereas the RG can often turn to a faded SS shade in bright light so the TT can be blingier there too.

Two tone watches look incomplete to the human eye, which translates to more detail, which translates to more attention, which translates to bling factor.

TT Submariner with a black face is blingy as hell. I don't know why. I think it has something to do with the putting of thick gold into an object which is supposed to be simply utilitarian. It is a therefore excessive by definition.
