I never played with a watch for comfort but can honestly say I hit thousands of shots on the range giving lessons for 15 years and never had any issues. Did have a lady hit the bezel on a YM and ding the bezel...that one was probably my fault.

not a problem for the rolex and golf ...but no utility
don't worry play the occasionally round
as I got better ...I use the garmin most of time ....I'm a yardage junkie
par birdie or bogie no damn doubles thats the plan

When in doubt on this one, do what Jack Nicklaus did. He took his DD off when he played and immediately put it back on after the round.
