Post some more pictures of the black motif dial man. I would like to see the dial at different angles as the motif is very subtle.

I've got the silver motif but that dial is much easier to see the motif pattern. Interested to see the black motif.

In the era of new releases and untouchable stainless steel waitlists, I went by the AD to chat and say hi as this was in the case. I have always loved the Day-Date and found its versatility, wearability, wrist presence, and class unbeatable by many of the watches in the catalogue. I never thought I would be a PM guy, I live a very active lifestyle, I am always traveling and/or working, and I do not like being too flashy. But something about this watch just sung when I put it on the wrist.

I was in a dilemma because it was a lot to spend for a watch. I thought that SS models were it for me, and that owning a PM would be silly and a waste. But, after holding to a good budget this year, some great blessings with work, and doing well on some investments - I decided that now it was time to pull the trigger.

Walked in, got it sized, and even got a watch box and hat to boot (in all of the watches I have purchased from this AD I never got a hat) in the deal. I am also going to receive the first LV from my AD when they get one in for shipment. So I would say it was a good deal all around.

I want to give a big thanks to Jessie (jpeezy14) for his help too. Sent him a couple of DMs about his views on the DD since we have similar styles and tastes. Also thanks to those who posted on my post two days ago about their own thoughts and experiences. This is a great watch family and I am happy to be apart of it.

Congrats Jonathan, where’s the hat?

Thanks Dave! You're still in the will! No expecting a BLRO, I think the CHNR is good for a GMT. But who knows.....

It was on the side, but I 1) need to be a better photographer and 2) actually stop focusing on the DD!

Thank you for those awesome pictures.
I am seriously considering that watch or the baguette version.

I call that the “fishnet stockings” dial.
:)

Lucky you! It’s awesome.
