If you must, sell the Daytona for near to its market value and buy a non flat 4 Kermit. The flat 4 is just a font difference. If you added a Kermit, that would make a pretty formidable duo.

Personally, I’d keep the Daytona here. I’ve had both and they are both lovely watches mind you.

Daytona C exchanged for Kermit who would do?

Let them give you back £20k and then you should consider - as they won’t do that then ...... —-> NO!

I wouldnt give a crap about some flat 4 nuance. The 116500 White Dial in my biased opinion is the best reference Rolex has made in years

this is a free world, do as you please.

that said, I would only entertain the idea of trading a SS Daytona for a full white gold Sub. and that is a big maybe.

a SS black / green Sub for a Daytona? hahaha...

Flat 4 is certainly a collectors piece, but would I want it over a 116500?... absolutely not. I’d love the two complimenting each other in a collection.

If you have had something for a long time and you get bored it is totally logical to exchange it for something else

Asking a bunch of people who don’t have it but want it more than the alternative is only going to give you one answer.

Just trying to highlight how really nobody else can decide for you and that there is bias in it. I think the Daytona is a nicer watch. But if I’ve had it for ages and are feeling like a change to me that’s fine but to others it’s mad

No. But if it's your grail watch, choose what makes you happy. Good luck either way.

No thanks. I love divers and I don't like chronographs and I would not do that deal. For that Daytona you can get way better value in trade/sale if you want to move on from it.

No. If you want to scratch the sub itch then any sub would fill the gap. The extra cost for a number difference and a colour is a little silly. Unless of course it’s part of a larger collection to complete.

I’d do it all day long. Then again I didn’t care for my Daytona and sold it.

You are crazy if you go through with that trade. It's literally just a sub with a vomit green bezel

my thoughts exactly.

I wouldn't wear a hulk / cermit even if I was offered one for free. I would sell the thing the next day, without letting it touch my wrist.

Daytona on the other hand - I will never sell it. hands down the best watch I've owned.

Depends on the terms of the deal and the Kermit’s condition
If you got your daytona at MSRP and the kermit is in mint condition full set then I’d say it’s a good deal, especially if there are a couple thousands$$$ coming your way
The grey price of the Daytona and the flat 4 are pretty close so it boils down to condition and what you like more

If you like the Kermit better and bought the 115600 at retail I would do it.

I have personally owned both and like the Daytona better, but I understand the allure of the Kermit, especially a flat 4.

C’mon, hell no.

Whatever sings to you. I wouldn't. But I might do it if I had a few more SS Daytona in my collection, e.g. 16520/116520.

Don’t do it, keep the Daytona and buy a Kermit (not a flat 4 that costs a lot)
