You have to take pictures from various angles, with exactly the same light conditions, this several times, in order to judge and say if there really is a difference.
There has never been any evidence of a different dial, only supositions. It would therefore be interesting to clarify the subject since you have one from 2014 and another from 2020.

What is certain is that there are 3 dials (MKI, MKII, MKIII) with minor text changes.

The ceramic bezel is identical, even on the new Kermit, they didn't bother.

I've never noticed any difference in the Hulk dials but also have not had them side by side. Ergo, if there is a difference (I'm doubtful, variation here is unlikely to occur as it would in the ovens baking ceramics), its remarkably subtle.

Get a color checking camera and a hex chart to check the hex value! then make sure that your monitors are color calibrated after you check the white balance temperature on the lights being used.

We will wait.

Don’t get me wrong, I agree with the statements above that it does not make logical sense for it to be different. Putting aside any production variations, theoretically speaking Rolex would be using the same materials, and using the same paint etc...

However, that’s the first thought I had when I received the 2020 Hulk that this watch just somehow seems different. I started to look at photos that I had of my 2014 Hulk and noticed the difference in the bezel. The difference in the dial didn’t really come through in the photos but rather when I looked at the watch, it just seemed different.

Anyway, I am not proclaiming that one should be worth more etc... I am just noting that there appears to be a difference. There have been other people on this forum who have also held the same belief so I am not entirely sure whether this can be attributed just to lighting conditions.

I’ll see if I can find other photos that I can post that exemplify this difference.

Please provide documentation that Rolex has used different paint codes. Until there is proof that they would go through the trouble of changing it mid term, I call not a chance in hell. This is all speculation and a forum creating this speculation. They may look different in certain light, polished different etc etc but Rolex did not change anything to the color. Nothing. Unless of course you can provide Rolex documentation that they did.

Not sure about the Pepsi, but the Hulk 2020 is different when compared to the the <=2014 models. Rolex has changed the submariner text, so it is plausible that they made changes to the bezel and dial. It has now been noted and communicated by more than one person so you can’t say that it is due to lighting conditions.

I am not sure about your point about documentation either? Is there documentation available from Rolex that shows that they bolded the ‘submariner’ text? Most of the information has been created by people, and it has been posted on this forum for the benefit of others.
