I own a 3186 polar and had maintenance issues with it and had to send it in.
It’s a great travel watch. It’s the only time I use the second time zone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The 40mm is a great size for most men’s wrists. Some people find the 42mm newer version to be to large and heavy for the wrist. The watch has both a classic and sporty look, so you check both boxes. The bracelet is very comfortable.
One bit of caution: The watch seems to be now becoming very popular for enthusiasts and I am noticing an upward march in asking prices. I don’t know if they get it, but the asking prices have increased. If Rolex announces a new version next year, 50th Anniversary, then I would assume the 16570, which is 2 versions back would skyrocket in price as evidenced by the ceramic SS Daytona, the 16520 prices increased. There is one other point I want to make. As I look at the FS ad and see the pictures, many of the watches are missing links, I really do not understand this. Almost all versions should have 13 links. Sometimes I count less than 11. Both the polar and black dial are great looking pieces. I have the polar and I have thought of adding the black. |

Love this reference as part of my collection. Versatile and also great for travel. Prices have gone up for sure but still way under other sports models.
Buy and hold for mid to long term and I'm sure you'll still come out ahead! Sent from my MRD-LX1N using Tapatalk |

Travel in Africa, warned about valuables, always use Gshocks.Airport officials have always asked for watches off for scanners, don,t like that.
