No doubt, sell the bluesy. Get the PM Sub. Once you have one you will only pick up the steel or the PM sub when you want to wear a sub. You would probably never pickup the bluesy again.
I had a bluesy for awhile, couldn't stand it. Upgraded to the YG sub and couldn't be happier. I unloaded all my TT pieces actually. I found I just stopped wearing them entirely once I had steel and PM pieces in my collection. Congrats on having access to the WG Sub. I am still looking for it myself. Of those PM pieces you mentioned, the WG sub would be the hardest to ever find again. Many ADs will never see one. The DD40 can literally be special ordered anytime, anywhere. |

Flip what you don't wear, I believe you said the Daytona...bonus tons of value in that. Then buy what YOU like the most. I flipped two Rolex to obtain my grail sub and zero regrets. Good luck!

I would sell the Daytona if you barley wear it and also ditch the sub no date. Move the blue AD into full time daily and buy the DD 40

To me, gold or TT tool watches (Subs, GMTs, Yacht Masters, Daytonas, even Sky Dwellers) are oxymorons; tool watches should be stainless steel IMHO.
I agree with the others who recommend a gold (rose or yellow, not white) DD.

Then I think you’ve narrowed it to the Daytona and, if you must, the Bluesy. Hopefully you’ll wear the DD40 more frequently. Don’t let all the talk of PM watches being soft fool you, these watches are tough and are meant to be worn! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sell the TT submariner and the Hublot. Buy the WG submariner 41mm.

I would sell the Speedy and the other black watch and get the DD40 of the choices offered. While you rarely wear some of your Rolexes, they are all keepers in my opinion. But, if you had to sell one of the Rolexes too, I would probably sell the Bluesy. I love the TT bluesy though, so I would then wait for a full gold Bluesy to satisfy the gold itch. :)
Good luck. Cheers, Tim |

I'd trade/sell the Bluesy and the Daytona (Daytona only since you admittedly don't care for it) for the DD. I'd say throw the Hublot in there too, but it's probably cheaper to just keep it if you actually wear it.

Since you don't wear the Daytona, I would sell it now when the value is high and re-invest the profits into a watch that will see wrist time. IMO there isn't any reason to own a watch that isn't worn and isn't really that collectable (due to high production numbers). Best to put the money in something you can use and enjoy.
I am a big fan of PM subs since I think they dress up or down very well. My preference would be to additionally sell your TT bluesy and buy a YG bluesy (the King Tut). Else I would keep your TT and buy a WG Smurf. I'm pretty biased for the Smurf/Hulk over the Blueberry/Ceramit, as I think for the extra money you also deserve a fancy color dial to enjoy. I am biased for the YG as I wear my King Tut as a daily. A Smurf or DD40 in RG and green dial or RG and chocolate dial would be second line. Edit: If you get a DD40 I would NOT sell the sub, as I think the sub is a staple of most of our collections. |

Gold has regained its position as KING these days. People moving to gold more and more now hence the prices of these have skyrocketed. SS ain't nothing compared to gold!!
In saying that your first PM piece SHOULD be a DD40 in YG. That is the most iconic piece and the best one for your first. I concur with others make sure you get a colored gold at least either YG/RG. I've said it numerous times now your first gold experience should tick the following boxes. 1) Must be a colored Gold. YG or RG 2) Must be on FULL bracelet. Regarding selling - if your not wearing the Daytona sell it. I think the SS Daytona has reached its absolute peak. When other pieces are increasing the SS Daytona has been stagnent between $25-$27k now and have not moved. I'd also sell the Hublot and SS Sub towards this deal so less cash outlay for you. Otherwise get a full YG Bluesy and trade the TT towards it. That is the second piece I would get as its beautiful as well. |

I love these types of questions!
Okay, so I know you said you rarely wear your Daytona. But that is a piece that you should NEVER sell. They are so hard to get at retail it is almost worth keeping in the collection on the off chance you grow to love it. Also out of your collection since you are going full gold a bluesy might seem redundant. I might also consider getting rid of the sky dweller. Just my personal opinion but im not a huge fan of it. I would get rid of the hubolt and either the bluesy or the sky dweller then buy a DD40. |

I would keep the sub and the daytona. Sell the two tone and put that toward the gold watch of your choice. With the 41 Sub and a Daytona you could add a DD and have a nice set to cover all the basis. The DD make for a better dress/occassion watch than the TT blue Sub.

Thanks Guys .... Getting some really strong arguments here.
Going to check out the DD40 at my AD as i’ve never tried one on. Also the pictures of the YG Sub Bluesy are very compelling. So far all my pieces are on oyster bracelets. Looks like the Daytona and TT bluesy will be the ones to go hmmm ... second hand market on speedy and Hublot are so low might as well keep ... no going to get much for those Is the Daytona market for this really at the peak ? Agreed ... ive never thought about selling the Daytona for the same reason you listed .... but funnily i find the Sky D blue more rare when im out I bought the Daytona as it was offered at retail and it would be crazy to turn it down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’d sell them all but Daytona and then get the gold Sky D to replace the SS one and also the DD. But if that’s not an option, move the bluesy and Hublot and get the DD.
But that’s just my opinion, it should be which watch you like best and which 2 you’d miss the least, only you can decide that. But I will tell you that once you go PM you won’t want to go back. |

I’d add a DD. But the one your AD has now, is it the one you want? If so then great, but if not I’d wait for/look for the one you want and make the move then.
As far as which to sell? I’d say the TT Sub and the Hublot. The Hublot is going to bring not much, especially compared to its cost, so if you had to go deeper I’d say sell the Omega, love the piece but you should keep one Sub and certainly keep the Daytona. I’m assuming the SkyD stays regardless... if not it should. |
