I don't get why people find it so weird that an AD would sell to the secondary market. They are in business to make profit. Why would they not sell to someone willing to buy 5-10 watches at a time?

Can you imagine having a case of lady's DJs and 2 tone DJs that sit for months? I'd offer a secondary buyer a hot model if they would take 5 or more of those off my shelves too.

Seems like good business to me.

The correlation between grey resellers and AD availability may look strong. It seems to track. But if you "know" something, then you can prove it. So prove it. Produce something.

Perhaps instead of claiming we all know, you should say it's your deduction. That's reasonable. Although of course, it won't have such high click bait potency or dramatic value. The truth seldom does in the world of luxury retail.
I’m not the OP. I couldn’t care less about the YouTube video that he posted. But I believe in logic and common sense. And common sense would suggest that resellers that are stocked to the brims with brand new, “hard to get” watches (sometimes still with stickers), are getting them from somewhere. And they are not getting them from guys who have been on the “waitlist” for 2 years or from “VIPs” who have spent hundred of thousands of dollars on jewelry to be offered these pieces.

AD’s can’t sell stainless Daytona’s, GMTs and green Subs directly to the consumer at prices above the MSRP because that would be frowned upon by Rolex. So they sell them to people they can trust to keep their mouths shut (i.e. resellers). You will not get any “hard evidence” for reasons that should be quite obvious. The ADs and the resellers both make good money by going around Rolex’s artificial price restrictions. Why would they want to ruin it?

I would not trust those guys for a second

Watchbox and Tim Mosso are just another fancier pig dressed up and selling their wares as well

Its all about making money
Exactly, Bark&Jack sells obviously overpriced merchandises on his channel and constantly kisses watch manufacturers asses for returns. Paul the Englishman and his secondary market dealer friends pretend to be talking about AD greddy actually is anther way to promote their litter grey dealer businesses. And other small watch channels are basically all independent watch sellers or flippers in disguise of watch reviewers. I wouldn’t trust a word coming out of their mouths.
