I've never gotten less than 25% on ANY Omega and I've probably owned a dozen over the years. This is not good news if true. Especially as Rollie has been so horrid to find and I was planning on a new Seamaster or Constellation in the spring.

Yup I agree. I will happily pay full retail when my AD finally gets them back in

All about supply and demand. Seems like omega quality is up and it’s very hard to get popular Rolex models at the AD... soooo more folks are going Omega and not looking back. Look at the comments!

Glad I got mine when I did.

Omega is making good watches that are available, whereas Rolex watches are generally unavailable. So if Rolex pursuers are unfulfilled, Omega demand is up.

My husband was offered 8% off on a Planet Ocean with out asking at the boutique in Orlando right after Christmas. The manager told us that starting Jan 1 that the cash registers would be programmed by Omega to decline any sale showing a discount.

Hmm, I guess they CAN do that at the boutiques.

If that is true then the word will quickly spread and social media will comment on it.

Omega definitely is gearing for this, its quite obvious from the well thought of and very refined releases that they have been doing.

Not going to happen. Maybe no discount on snoopy and new speedmaster. Omega cases are full and no way they will move at full msrp.

Was able to pick up a hesalite speedy through AAFES for $3,400 after discounts and no tax. I am hoping they still have their discounts when it comes time for a Seamaster.

I talked to Omega boutique in Hawaii and they said that the main goal is to slowly stopped using ADs and have only Boutique. And they do not give any discounts if they do is super rare.

This is even happening with Breitling, if you can believe it lol. The new direction they're taking is also no discounts... bought one mid last year and was able to get a small discount, inquired about the newer models and was told no more discounts.

25% is crazy never seen that I got 22% in early 2020 but with a lot of history at AD. Makes me wonder if Omega may go way of Rolex remeber they couldnt give Hulks away many years ago now look..

Omega discounts STOPPING?

If Omega stops discounting their popular models, the market craze for Rolex watches would only become crazier.

They have been trying that for years, but keep needing to add AD to get watches sold, who in turn MUST discount to get them out the door...

Omega is scaled to produce alotta watches at factory level. They have to go somewhere and boutique only doesn’t cut it as those watches aren’t guaranteed sales when they hit the boutique. They still need to be sold to the end user. That costs Omega even more as they incur all the overheads from the boutique operation all the while the watches just sit there.

They need the AD model to get cash flow from sold watches in one big order from AD channel.

Now the AD is stuck with dogs and excess stock and must dump watches, hence the discounting to move them along.

Omega simply makes too many watches for all these dreams to come true...

13% off a white dial rubber strap Seamaster. Last one at the local AD and 2 other ADs no stock. All the OB have it at 5%

I picked up a Speedy hesalite 005 full set/BNIB with stickers intact from a grey last month for 22% off, no tax and insured overnight shipping included. That was after being told by multiple dealers that discounts on Omega were a thing of the past. There’s still deals out there, you just have to look for them

I tend to agree with this premise and really hope it falls through. Omega is a wonderful brand and deserves its pieces to be sold everywhere. AD also contribute to marketing big time. Nothing beats going to Mayors at Dadeland Mall in Miami and trying all the brands in a single AD.
