Agreed - it's very cool. When I first heard of the idea I was on the fence but it's certainly for the better. It's nice to have an actual card (like a credit card). I'm also an accessory collector so I've got a lot from various brands and got my hands on two of those e-warranty cards with the COSC certificate. I'm glad I did this because they've since been phased out but I'm all for the new method now.
Usually companies don't give you the time of day for a pre-owned watch, at least from my experience. Either service it or don't. But Breitling was very open and easy, providing service history over the phone with the serial number. That simple act helped them win me over. You should take a group shot with them all! Also, I miss the days where John Travolta was a brand ambassador. |
