It was on my long list since its Basel launch and the call came in a few days ago. I was honestly reluctant to go in and was about to pass, but thought a trip to the AD was a good excuse to get out of the house right now. Glad I did. The YM42 OF reference 226659 is a statement in itself. Those who need to know will know. To everyone else, it's just a modded Sub

It's now found a new home on my wrist and not sure I will be taking it off anytime soon.

Peace and love to everyone and hope you are all in good health.

.

I've always loved this one and the rose gold. Amazing looking and such a level up from steel subs.

Agreed, I thought I was done buying Rolex after I bought my 126715.....but I really am liking the RG Yachtmaster. I love the rubber strap.

I read this yesterday and thought what a great watch. I came close to acquiring one recently but decided against it. I'm still hunting for the right opportunity! Congratulations!!!

These days, my only Rolex. Good design although the ‘stealth’ quality probably stops it ever becoming a strong seller. But lovely to wear and own.

I think the Yachtmasters in general are gaining in popularity. I hardly noticed them in past years but if I was offered the SS with blue bezel at this point, I think I would take it.

I'm a Huge Fan!!!!! I think 42 is a perfect size for a watch. Not to big, not to small. The heft of the WG and the OF is an added bonus. I have a Rubber B on my 116660-JC and makes it very a very comfortable watch to wear. I'm Going on Friday to try one on. Fingers crossed.

Got my WG YM 42mm last month and I absolutely love it. It wasn’t my first choice as my first PM watch but when my AD offered it up to me, I went to see it and fell in love. Tried to upload a photo but the file is too big. Was really hoping for a RG Daytona on OF but wow, did I love how sporty and simple this watch is.

So understated, yet the 42mm gives it so much presence. And how sinister is the matte black ceramic bezel? If Hans Gruber from Die Hard were alive today, this is the watch he’d be wearing, moving on from the gold Cartier Tank he wore before being dropped off the Nakotomi Tower. Also saw world number 3 tennis player Dominic Thiem rocking this at this year’s Australian Open.
