Pepsi first and adds Bluesy later.

If you dive deeper than 330 feet, maybe so. If you're a recreational diver the GMT does double duty as a diver with dual time zone functionality. To me, that's real usefulness.

As a diver I can confirm this. There is nothing a GMT can’t do a Sub can in the water. The % of divers that even gets close to the GMT’s limits are minute.

The bluesy is a fabulous looking watch, but in the real world it's a bit flashy and I got rid of mine after a year.

TT Blusey or Pepsi
Quote:
I’ll add to that confirmation. A GMT master will work just fine at the depths a majority of recreational divers go to which is typically < 20m or 65ft. Outside the water it will have the date, tracks 3 time zones, and if you have a 4/5 digit variant then it will have a 120 click bezel for timing purposes. |

Bluesy gets my vote its a great watch, iconic and that sunburst blue is someone special in person. Both would be ideal haha

I'd hold on for the Pepsi, given your choice.

If you will ask your AD to put in the Bluesy on the list, most likely it will come first. Unless you plan to purchase both, then it is alright to have the Bluesy while continue to wait for the Pepsi.
My thinking is that, you can somehow give the AD a kind of sales incentive to them by mentioning that you are really serious to get the bluesy AFTER acquiring the Pepsi from them, it might help speed up their push for your Pepsi. |

If you like and want both
Ask the dealer if you can get a blusy and if they can give you a verbal on getting the Pepsi sooner |

Hard to advise really on just one without knowing what else you already have. Between these two, Bluesy for me. Sub wears larger and prefer oyster. |

The problem with the BLRO is it might take years to materialize, if at all. The Bluesy on the other hand can be had and enjoyed much earlier, in a matter of months or even weeks if you're lucky. I'd take the Bluesy now and reiterate my interest in the BLRO to the SA.
I’ve been waiting for the Pepsi since the very first day it was announced, back in March 2018, just over 3 years now. It’s not going to happen, last time I checked they had “deleted my records when they migrated their system”. I got my Bluesy from another local AD in Sep 2020. |

It's subjective, get which ever appeals to you. I have had both the pre ceramic Bluesy and the later ceramic version. Both great, but for me the ceramic is superior. The GMT is a different watch with different features. Get the model that suits your needs and or preferences.

I love the bluesy and never had a desire to have the BLRO, but if i was in your position, that’s the one I’d go with.

BLRO. Finally procured one after 3 year wait. Bluesy Sub much easier to find. I am in awe of my BLRO and a huge GMT fan.

I tend to side with the majority, I would definitely wait it out for the BLRO if I were you. In the end, no wrong choice and you'll be happy with whichever you get first.

I like the BLRO more, so for that reason i'll pick Pepsi. Would agree that it's probably a "waste of turn" to pick the bluesy. Idk if AD look at it that way tho.

Get the bluesy for now to add to your purchase history which will help w the blro. When you get offered a blro, you can consider selling the bluesy if you must only have one or the other. Or even sell the blro for $$ if you prefer the bluesy.

Personally, I don't like the jubilee bracelet on sports models, so it would be a no brainer 126613LB all the way for me.

I have no need for a GMT or a diver though. What I like about the blusey is that the whole watch itself really pops. It's. The dial on the blusey is really nice. I don't mind that it's 5K more... My only hesitation is that two tone may look gaudy on my dark skin tone. I've always had white metal watches. Never had gold or rose gold. I'm not into paying 20K for a Pepsi. Its not that much to me. |

Any AD will get either pepsi / batgirl every month.
But mind you it’s a long waiting list. With most Rolex shops having nothing to display today, I say get a bluesy if you can. Your AD won’t probably call u for the pepsi in years |
