Just watched TPG latest video on YouTube.

Interesting...IMO he completely misses the point on what Rolex have done.

I don't believe that Rolex gives grey dealers, the secondary market or their watches as 'investments ' a second thought when deciding what to produce or discontinue.

IMO TPG is not a true watch enthusiast but simply a get rich quick speculator.

This is like watching a slow motion train wreck. It can only end badly.

But the Daytonas he hoarded will not lose value of course, although they will most probably not get discontinued for a long time
These Daytonas especially the green don't look good on his wrist, too small. They should go down in price just because he is wearing them.

I agree. I would take a 116710BLNR over the new version in a heartbeat to acquire the older serviceable movement. I am not a fan of the bearing movements. It feels cheap to me.
