I think non-sports watches look best on women.

A lady friend of mine who is an air stewardess wears a mens size fossil and I think it looks good on her and that was like 10 years ago. I don't think ladies with mens watch is a fad. ![]() ![]()

Respectfully disagree, especially now after seeing the SD dangle on my wife's wrist, it is a sexy watch on a woman and a masculine watch on a man. Unlike the harrassment Jen had to endure, my wife is getting lot of oohs, aahs and compliments at work.

I lived in Geneva years back and it was a common sight to see a Sub on a woman. Very sportif.

Looks awesome on her! Great choice!
I think the bottom line is that if she likes the watch (or any woman), I don't care what the size is, may as well let her get it (so long as it's within your budget, yada yada). Just saying, freedom of choice and I think someone should be able to wear whatever they want. If it makes them happy then that's all that matters. And that goes for both men and women.

It's a great idea provided it fits nicely on her wrist like the other ladies whose pix appear on this thread. Just bear in mind that if her wrist is slim, you might have to perform a bit of extra surgery on the bracelet to get it to fit. Either way though, I'd say go for it!

I personally don't think it's so much an issue of a good or bad idea, but is more tied in with whatever size a person is comfortable wearing. So I'm saying whatever one is comfortable with is a good idea.

I agree they are awesome for women...I actually feel that most watches are quite unisex, and usually like the look of "mens" models even better on women than "ladies" models.

If my wife starts to wear my precious collection of Rolexes, where will I be. No way. Ladies please stay between the bounds of dainty ladies watches or get a nice YM. |

Is there any limit to what women today can not do or wear? Atleast in the Western world? i don't think so. However I do personally think that there are certain things that suit men more than women and vise versa.

If the mighty Submariner and Seadweller are considered Unisex watches, then in my opinion neck ties, cuff links and tux should be worn by women as well.

I think it looks great on a woman, it brings out a certain authority to the lady.. To the point where it'll bring a grown man to tears :D
But I think it has to be done right, it will look ridiculous otherwise.. |

I voted "meh!"
Truth is I don't care and neither should your wife or anybody else for that matter. If your wife or Jen or JJ or Steve or myself or whoever want a SD or Sub or even a lady date then it's up to us. Too much emphasis is put upon what others might think. If it makes your wife happy then celebrate it! J |
