Both are nice and can sure co-exist in your collection. If they were mine, I would swap the DJ blue sticks for a DJ white roman.

I'd favor the DJ but that's just me and I have a small wrist.

Both have very similar overall aesthetic and great dial. I find the SD to be a little too busy, though, and less legibility at a glance.

I’ll take the Datejust if you don’t want it.

You can certainly own those in the same collection. In fact, you do!

If they make you happy, then there’s no reason not to keep both.

If you’re happy then keep both! I personally would want a different color dj dial, but the jubilee differentiates it enough for me.

The SkyD looks huge in comparison to the DJ here. It’s a beautiful watch and I love the annual calendar, but always seemed a tad too big to me. In any case, they are quite similar. I’d second the advice of maybe swapping the DJ for a TT DJ.

Should these two be in the same collection?

They’ll wear differently despite looking superficially similar.

With watches and 911s, only sell one off if it’s giving you trouble.

The blue dial is so mesmerizing...

At the end of the day they're still two different watches albeit the same dial color, only you can decide.

Keep them both. They are equally amazing in their small differences.

Too similar, sell the DJ. The jubilee bracelet sets it apart a little buy personally still too similar for me.

I think there are enough differences to keep both in your collection. The SkyD is your sporty classic watch and the DJ is your classic dressy watch when less wrist present is desired. IMHO both can co-exist and your DJ has the best setup, I would not trade for a different dial.

I would add a different dial for the DJ, if you want variety, when you get it serviced at the RSC in the future. Think of the good reasons why you got that DJ in the first place. It’s a beautiful watch, ONLY sell if you are cash strapped!

I would keep them. With the bracelet difference and size there is enough difference for me.

Should? I don’t believe in “should” when it comes to building a collection.

Decide what the goal of your collection is, then listen to your heart. (Or sometimes your brain, depending on said goal.)

Wow that picture looks much more than a 1mm difference. How do they each wear?

I ask because I can wear a DJ easy, but the SkyD looks way too big on me.

Mad crazy insane Sky Dweller is so cool but it shows you how great the DJ is next to it at a bargain price I’m sure…

I have a pretty similar situation with my op 39 and sky dweller. Had I have a sky d first id probably not buy it. But I also have a explorer 1 and a airking and enjoy the hell out of them too lol. So what I do is op for day and sky d or night etc.
oh and now I want sea dwellers and subs cas of you!

Personally i'd sell the DJ, depends how much you like it. It's too similar to the SkyD for me. Maybe sell it and buy a sub no date?

What about changing DJ to a silver dial. Dressier with the jubilee and a bit more different. Nice problem to have

They look too similar, but the Sky Dweller is a much neater watch. The 9001 is a masterpiece.
