I’ve also noticed that some 118206 Day Date 36s with the glacier blue dial have shade variants. Some are very close to silver, and others are clearly blue (like the “Platona” blue dial). The larger DD40s are clearly blue.
Does anyone know what accounts for the difference, such as the year of manufacture? To OP, yours looks silver from the photos. |

Gotta be way older - been a while since the DD36 came with a domed bezel and the reference to removing the bracelet to view the serial number suggests it was pre-engraved rehaut.
Which is also making me think the dial is silver; I thought that the slate dial on this watch was a bit more recent. Though it looks silver, regardless. |

It looks silver to me, but it could be glacier blue.
