I am also eyeing up the blue dial. It is not a classic Pilot’s watch dial color, but I am a sucker for blue dials. You can’t beat the black dial with brown calfskin strap combo though.

Thinking I might scratch the IWC itch
Bandr bands! Love their stuff for the money. 21mm desert sand cordura. It’s in an IWC pilot style as well with the abrupt taper about an inch from the lug. Honestly I am one of those guys who doesn’t like deployants. I find standard tang more comfy.

This thread got me hooked of getting a Pilot’s watch for my sea/air/land collection.
I am saving up for the Pilot Chronograph 41 right now, and thinking of pulling the trigger at the end of the year. Current collection: 1) Rolex Submariner 116610LV, 2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 311.30.42.30.01.006, 3) Panerai Luminor GMT 10-days PAM533 |

I was at Tourneau/Bucherer yesterday to check one out. They had black dial with brown strap, blue dial with blue strap and blue dial with bracelet in stock. I was underwhelmed, mostly do to the lack of date and/or power reserve complications, although the blue dial was very striking. I could see this being a quick flip for me, but still think pondering it. Regarding strap fit, I was at the tightest hole and there was way too much tail sticking out. I’d definitely need the XS length strap.
