Crazy. Guess I'll go for forged carbon.

Definitely will scratch it since resting it on a desk can cause scratching….

Serious question: what is the purpose / fad of wearing bracelets (gold, leather, nylon, etc) next to a watch? Is it to add more character and uniqueness? Honest question and not meant sarcastically. I see this a lot online and lately in person.

Remember all that the term “forged carbon” is a marketing term for injection molded plastic with bits of carbon fiber mixed in. Can be stiff and have good tensile strength but it isn’t that hard and is mostly just resin.

Just a form of expression I suppose. Plus it's fun to have nice, beautiful worldly possessions.

As others have said, it will scratch it, and there is a chance the scratches will look way worse and get way deeper than the ones you get naturally.

Also, IMHO, it detracts from the watch, especially on a watch as simple and surgical as a Sub. You're wearing the best watch ever made. It doesn't need anything else.

Every time I see someone wearing a metal bracelet beside their Rolex I convince myself they know what's going to happen. And then someone will post how they couldn't believe their polished case was scratched by their metal bracelet!

to the op, you lost me at "I like to wear bracelets" but if you must then I'd agree with others in that you have two wrists

We all wear bracelets. I just want to wear two; one tells time, the other makes life more interesting.
